I’m back from Salt Lake City followed by a trip to Portland (more about that later). Wintry weather is great for hot chai, layering clothes, and wearing all my vintage coats shoved in the back of my closet, but I am so glad to be back to Austin and our warm, sunny weather! Last week, Meredith gave you a recap of our favorite highlights from the event, but we had way too much fun to pack into one post.
Before we left for SLC, I spent some one-on-one time with our new HP SpectreONE All-in-One computer and was pleasantly surprised to see the Amanda Brown inspiration board (pictured above) on display in the HP lounge!
After our first day of information overload, HP hosted a much-needed happy hour where I sipped a cocktail and gabbed away with the other HP bloggers. It was great meeting you, Melissa Bahen (Lulu the Baker) and Chelsea Costa (Lovely Indeed). Your blogs are bookmarked!
Meredith and I arrived at the party that night in Clue fashion and met hundreds of ladies and gents sporting their favorite Clue hues.
The most amazing two hours of the entire conference were because of the provocative and inspiring presentation by Stefan Sagmeister. If you haven’t heard his TED talk or visited the Sagmeister and Walsh website, make it a priority this week!
Friday was concluded by Color Me Katie. She’s the one getting the piggyback ride from Stefan Sagmeister’s fiance! She spurred an impromptu balloon fight in the middle of the Grand American ballroom!
Thank you to all the sponsors and people who made this year’s Altitude Summit SLC a blast for the Sprucettes! And check out this long list of great blogs I discovered while making new friends.
For additional specs and information about the HP SpectreONE All-in-One, visit the HP website here and here. I wrote this post while participating in a program on behalf of HP and received the HP SpectreONE AiO and other products as a thank you for my participation.
