I hope this becomes a theme for me writing about new digital magazines popping up, because the more the merrier I say! I haven’t gotten a chance in a while to give a shout out to the new and exciting addition to the design editorial community. Rue Magazine was founded by a few Chicago bloggers, Crystal Gentilello and Anne Sage, who wanted to blend the inclusive nature of blogging with a magazine. Having been in the works since last April, the girls just kept hitting green lights. From the looks of the first issue, they have chosen to incorporate design in the form of interiors, fashion, party hosting, and tons more! I am certainly a visual person (I cruise the photos first and then go back for the articles), so below are a few of my favorite shots from the inaugural issue.
