Hello! I hope everyone had a fun weekend. We are newly obsessed with all the fun projects that can be created with the video tutorial website, Creativebug. Last weekend, I had a housewarming get together for a friend and needed a gift. What do you bring to a friend still living out of boxes? Nothing goes better with unpacking than a glass of wine! I was excited to create one of the fun projects I’ve seen on Creativebug and chose the Furoshiki Wine Wrap Video to give my gift a bit of a lift. This one is super simple and adds a personal, thoughtful touch. Take a look at this Creativebug video with Megumi Inouye, the gift wrap artist behind the tutorial I completed.

Since we aren’t in short supply of fabric around here, it was seriously easy for me to get started! I used a Skinny Laminx fabric that I’ve always loved and think is a perfect scale for this application.

My friend was tickled pink to receive a gift she will actually use and one that was so darn cute! Think of all the things you could use to make this project. Whether it’s made with a vintage scarf from your grandmother or a fresh new print from Spruce’s collection of fabrics, it’s a great way to put a personal touch on all your gifts. Happy wrapping!
