Let’s Talk: Outdoor Fabrics!

As the days grow longer and the temperature climbs, we look to spend more hours in our out-of-doors living spaces, often feeling compelled to “Spruce” them up. In the last month we have had customers flocking to the shop with their exterior seating projects in preparation for the summer. Here is a short tour of some excellent outdoor fabric options to make your sunny season festivities and times of repose just as dapper as the rest of your home.

Perennials Outdoor Fabrics offers some of the most current, versatile, and exciting patterns and textures for outdoor use. A few of my favorites are:

Perennials "Zig Zag" in color Berrylicious.

Perennials "Swoop" in color Green Parrot.

Perennials "Swish" in color Grotto.

Perennials "What Knot" in color Ceruse.

Take a trip through the site; there are plenty of enchanting looks. If it’s subtle texture and pattern you’re after they’ve got it! Most Perennials textiles are super durable, mold/mildew resistant, and highly lightfast.

Schumacher is another source for attractive outdoor patterns. I have always loved their Trina Turk collection which you may be familiar with…

Trina Turk for Schumacher; "Sonriza Print" in Orange, and "Zebra Print" in Bamboo.

Also these lovelies are up for grabs:

Schumacher's Cote d'Azure collection; "Antibes Chevron" in color Navy.

Schumacher's Cote d'Azure Collection; "Tortola" in color Oxford Grey.

There again – much to choose from. Let’s look at some kicky stripes from Robert Allen

Robert Allen; "Fiesta Key" in color Mardi Gras. Gads more colorways!

Robert Allen; "Polo Beach" in color Lagoon.

Truly there are as many patterns, prints, textures, sensations found in outdoor fabrics these days as there are in the interior fabrics category. Sunbrella even makes an outdoor velvet! Can you imagine? Just get yourself to the shop to peruse our outdoor section. We will help you make the advancing dog days at home unsurpassed!
