Before and Afters: Recent and from the Vault

By Spruce | Published

Quite possibly, the most satisfying aspect of our job is the transformation we see happen to each different piece of furniture every week.  Sometimes we may lose sight of the scope of the transformation as we pass it through our assembly line.  First the piece is stripped down to the frame by one person, then the next person does the seat, another does the inside portion, and so on.  It really isn’t until the last bit of trim is applied and the final cushions placed that we all step back and see the piece, as a whole,  in its new form.

Here are before and after photos of our latest pieces we have for sale in our shop and on Etsy.  We have an antique chair, a sofa and chair set, and a bench we created with a set of vintage legs we found.

I love how the front of the seats of those chairs are tufted — genius!
